YTD 2020,2021,2022

Hi Everyone, I have a question about YTD for 3 years. I have stock prices from 1st day of 2020 to present day of 2022 for some companies and i have to calculate YTD for these companies. How can i do this? I think that i can do three calculations of YTD for each companies:

1. ((last day of 2020 - first day of 2020) / first day 2020) *100

2. ((last day of 2021 - first day of 2020) / first day 2020)*100

3. ((current day of 2022 - first day of 2020) / first day 2020)*100

Will this calculation be correct to show how the company has changed from early 2020 to today?

Re: YTD 2020,2021,2022

YTD means Year to Date and is generally used to refer to the "current year" aka beginning of this current year until now.

Example: Today being September 10, 2022, so for the purpose of determining the performance of a companies stock year to date, it would be the period covering: January 1, 2022 until September 9, 2022 (stock price as of last market close).
