Please Suggest Me  

HI All,

 

I am a working Software engineer who deals with SQL server databases my job title is ” SQL server DBA “…… I am a lad of 3 years experience, I hold Avg as 60% in my education three years back. I am here to ask very routine questions which you all big guys might have seen several time sin this forum.

 

And my questions are being a SQL server DBA could I become a BA ?..... and what should I be doing in sense of qualification to get into this Job……?

 

I stay in INDIA and want to be a BA, so please give your valuable inputs on this.

An analyst is required to have knowledge in his field but also must be able to communicate at many levels. Therefore; he must be able to write and express himself fluently...

e-Analyst Redbooks – Business / Systems Analysis
 
Here is a good resource for getting started in the field of business analysis. These are a series of e-Analyst Redbooks and they are authored by Business Analyst. The Group that will be authoring these books is the e-Analyst Redbook Authoring Group. We are currently on linkedIn. http://www.linkedin.com/
 
The first two books are available in download. There is an Introduction to Business Analysis and UML and Business Analysis Templates. The templates can be purchased in the book version which helps explains how to develop the content and there is a multimedia version that will allow you to load each template in word format. These templates are customized and ready for use. Here is the link to the products page and you can get more information. Also, you can go navigate through this site for more information on the Authoring Group and a link to join.
