Looking for some advice guys.

I am currently unemployed and recently layed off due to the loss of a few big clients by the last company I worked for. My position was a Technical Operations Analyst where I had the below responsibilities.

§  Worked in a 24/7 NOC setting with Real-Time Networking monitoring.

§  Provided level 2 Helpdesk Support and responded to trouble tickets daily.

§  Ensured that every issue was completed successfully and fully documented.

§  Logged calls into a tracking system, assigning priority level and follow up.

§  Scripted and automated tasks in a Unix/Linux Environment according to process requirements.

§  Conferred with senior developers to understand new or revised systems, discuss system design issues, resolve problems related to programming specifications, and test and roll-out system changes and upgrades.

§  Responsible for running and maintaining processes given by Development and Technical Client Services.

§  Managed that all current processes and related information about the existing system are accurately documented.

I am starting to realise that my personality and way I think and process information would make me a great Business Analyst. My question is can anyone tell me whats the best fast track to land a Junior Business Analyst position in the greater NYC area? I see tons of postings but dont really know where to start.

I have researched Villanova's masters cerificate program and located some other prep courses but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

-CP

Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
