What do you really know about busines analysis?

If you want to stretch your knowledge check this list for inspiration.  These are, in my view, all important things for a professional business analyst to know about.

  • Balanced scorecards
  • Tracing system capabilities back to project goals back to business stategies
  • Work breakdown structures
  • Desk based industry research
  • Quality assurance processes
  • Managing organisational change
  • Writing acceptance criteria for requirements
  • Performing and managing User Acceptance Testing

Maybe some of you other posters have some things you think are important to know about.  Maybe you disagree with some of this list?

And maybe some of you have some comments on the best palces to look for info on these topics?
