Coaching, mentoring and sharing skills and knowledge.

If you are an experienced, talented BA share your experiences and knowledge. Go find some junior BA or someone wanting to become a BA and coach them, mentor them, help them grow into excellent BAs.

Craig,

I second that!!!  There are so many junior BAs looking for a mentor and genuinely interested in improving their skills.  For the experienced BAs - the best thing we can do to ensure we maintain and increase our value is to coach and mentor others.

Joining (or starting) your local BA association

I just got back from an IIBA event.  It's still early days but there is certainly a buzz about the career and opportunities that come with it.  Sharing knowledge, job opportunities etc. Check out IIBA or your local equivalent for events - or browse the MA forusm.

And of you do get involved - post the event details here as well and share what is going on in your neck of the woods.
