Among all the BOKs listed on your blog, still BABOK seems the most relevant one for BSA, I think.

I agree with you that real working experience is the most important; and having a mentor would be an asset for a person to grow career. I also agree that it would definitely be beneficial for a BSA also to take the ownership of  requirements. But normally, say if there is a business oriented BA, BSA might need to focus more on the detailed specs. what does everybody think?
