Hi Giti,

Many business analysis education providers such B2T Training, UC Irvine Extenssion, etc. offer a certificate if you complete a certain set of courses through them so that may be an option.  Also, the ISEB diploma seems to be a popular route for folks not yet eligible for the CBAP.

Hope this helps!

Hi Giti,

The ITIL qualifications are excellent as are the ISEB modular BA qualifications which cover some of the technical areas such as Systems Modelling / UML / Design  etc.

There is also a new International Diploma in Business Analysis being introduced by the ISEB.

Companies like B2T also offer excellent online BA training to acquire a BA Associate / BA Certified qualification.

K,

Re: What are the possible certification for Business Analyst

 Hi Giti,

If your motivations for doing the certification are about increasing your knowledge and getting better at being a BA, then fair enough. However if your motivation is to get a better job using the certification, then please check the job ads, etc in your job market. I suspect you'll find that no one asks for any of the certifications currently being spruiked around the place. I'm sure you'll be able to draw your own conclusions from that on the value of those certifications.
