Greetings, community.

My names is Myles and I have been a BSA for about a decade now. My career path was quite zig-zaggy, going from help desk technician --> client support project management (e.g. Y2K remediation) --> software development project manager (where I discovered I much prefer requirements over project timelines) --> business systems analyst --> senior business systems analyst. I've just returned to work on a contract after 19 months as a stay-at-home parent. My new position is with a bank working as part of a large team on an enterprise data warehouse project. Prior to my long absence from the job market, I was a contracting analyst for two years for one of the major Japanese automotive companies in Torrance, CA. And before that I had a BSA consulting contract that lasted 7 years with a large pharma company based out of Santa Monica, CA.

I was pleased to find a professional community online and I look forward to exchanging ideas with fellow members.
