Shane Hastie will examine the BABOK™ Enterprise Analysis Knowledge Area – what is included and what are some of the key techniques and tools of Enterprise Analysis.

  • Understanding the role of strategic goals and objectives and how the business analyst contributes to and is guided by overall strategy
  • Understanding the various levels of Enterprise and Business Architecture; how they flow into the tactical data, system and application architectures and how they impact on business analysis activities
  • Understanding risk as it relates to enterprise level activities, and how it guides the business analyst in conducting systems investigations
  • Identifying and presenting business requirements and how they lead into the more granular system, user, quality and functional requirements for new or enhanced systems
