BUSINESS ANALYSIS MATURITY MODEL

We've created this Blog to discuss the industry's views on the various aspects of a business analysis maturity model. As maturity models have gained currency as a standard way of describing a series of stages that organizations pass through as they become more capable in the maturity model’s domain of practice. Several key maturity models are popular today, including the Software Capability Maturity Model and the IT Services Capability Maturity Model. To date, most progress has been realized with these kinds of IT-centric models. However, as organizations move from a traditional requirements-centric approach to a business specification-based approach, what has been needed is a maturity model that addresses the key intersection point between business and technology. The Business Analysis Maturity Model (BAMM) is intended to address this area.
