I recently joined a company and assigned a task to document business processes of a beauty saloon. Could anyone please give me some examples, templates or sample process document and help me on how to proceed with creating this document.

Check the 'Templates' page on the ModernAnalyst site (there is a quick link from the Forums page) for examples and references. If you filter the Templates page by Business Process Management (using the hyperlinks on the right), you'll find materials specific to process modeling. There is one how-to guide that you might find very useful called Simplified Process Mapping Methodology. It explains how to document as-is processes using BPMN, gives examples, and explains how to identify process improvements to create the to-be. It's free to dowload for ModernAnalyst members.

Just out of curiosity, is there anything special about the behavioral requirements at a Beauty Parlor that just looking at a "generic" template of a process model would not address? What is special about a Beauty Parlor?
