Parsing Files 

Hello,

I am trying to write requirements for how files should be parsed. Can anyone tell me what I need to know in order to write this? Also, what are the steps I should take?

Nadia:

How files are parsed is a design consideration, not a business requirement.  What end result are the users willing to pay for?  That is your top most level requirement.   From there, you can decompose as necessary.
