PMO equivalent in the BA world? 

  Today we have a PMO (Project Management Office) in the PM (Project Management) domain, is there an equivalent PMO name in the BA world?

In the Business Analysis world, there isn't a direct equivalent to a PMO but there are organizations who are beginning to centralize the business/systems analysis function.  Many of these are called: Business Analysis Group, Business Analysis Team, Enterprise Analysis Group, etc.

From a collaboration and standards perspective, there seems to be momentum towards creating communities for business analysts within an organization such as:

BA Center of Excellence is becoming the new buzzword.
