BA certification

Hi,

I had a question regd BA certification.

I am looking forward to change the direction of my career and am looking for a job as a BA. Previously, I have worked as Marketing Business Analyst and Marketing communications analyst.  I wanted to get some basic BA certification to help me put my foot in the job market as a BA. What kind of certification should I be looking for? Also, Do I need to have previous BA experience to take CBAP exam?

I am kind of new to Modern Analyst so have no idea if this has been discussed previously. Information on this topic would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: BA certification

For information on certification go to theiiba.org.  You may be eligible for a CBAP cert if you've done enough years as a BA.  An alternative is the lighter requirement CCBA.

A marketing background is an excellent background for a BA.  Maybe there is non better?  As for qualifications, check with some local recruiters what matters most in your city.

I have always loved cooking. I learned from my Grandma June and her kitchen was her sanctuary, a small, warm sunlit space filled with jars of spices, stacks of cookbooks, and the comforting smell of something always on the stove or baking in the oven. Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
