Scenario 

  Hello all, i would like contributions on how to tackle this scenarion please

 

Background

Through rapid business growth ,the development environment  at AXB has grown considerably in a  short space of time.

 

The known issues are;

·        Limited Documentation

·        No Version Control

·        Mixture of disciplined and un-disciplined developers (in terms of standards)

·        High Project/Change Management/BAU volume

·        Changing/Evolving requirements

·        No dedicated System testing or Business Analyst functions

·        Inefficient Code within the main Oracle system

 

Over the next few months the following are being addressed;

·        Recruiting System Tester & Business Analyst

·        Implementing Version Control

·        Implementing Development Standards

 

For the introduction of a dedicated Business Analyst function within AXB, what would you seek to set up initially and what would the long term vision of the function and how it would interact with Development, Projects, the Business and System testing.
