 BUSINESS ANALYSIS IS FOCUS OF THREE NEW COURSES FROM LEARNING TREE

RESTON, VA (May 7, 2009) Learning Tree International (NASDAQ NGM: LTRE) today announced the addition of three new courses entitled Building a Successful Business Analysis Work Plan, Introduction to Modeling for Business Analysis and Preparing for the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®)Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®)Certification Exam. Building a Successful Business Analysis Work Plan and Introduction to Modeling for Business Analysis both feature an expert instructor who leads attendees in extensive exercises for the purpose of gaining practical experience and building business analysis skills. Preparing for the IIBA® CBAP® Certification Exam provides an expert instructor who leads attendees in a series of workshops, simulated tests and building a reference toolkit in preparation for the exam.

Over three days, participants in Building a Successful Business Analysis Work Plan will learn to:
  • Develop a work plan that successfully addresses the needs of a business analyst (BA)
  • Quickly integrate the BA role into the overall project strategy
  • Apply planning best practices to get projects done on time and within budget
 
 Over four days, participants in Introduction to Modeling for Business Analysis will learn to:
  •  Leverage critical modeling techniques to become a successful business analyst (BA)
  • Define the scope and intent of a business model
  • Model core business functions and processes with Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN)
 
 Over four days, participants in Preparing for the IIBA® CBAP® Exam will:
  • Prepare to pass the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) exam
  • Identify and absorb key concepts within the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK®)
  • Navigate the complexity of the six BABOK® knowledge areas
