CEO of IIBA to discuss trends for BA profession during Euro tour

International Institute of Business Analysis welcomes to London its first president and CEO Kathleen Barret

(LONDON) -- In the wake of sustained, double-digit growth in membership, the International Institute of Business Analysis is sending its first full-time President and Chief Executive Officer on a global tour to discuss trends for this young profession. The IIBA® gained over 14,000 members in 90 chapters since its launch six years ago.  

Kathleen Barret says, “Since our profession is young and growing very rapidly, corporations and business analysts themselves are urgently searching for ways to quickly assess skill levels in the core knowledge areas of business analysis.” She adds, “In response, IIBA recently appointed a senior staff member to develop an enhanced certification program with proficiency requirements for different stages of career development.”

Based in Toronto, Canada, Ms. Barret will be in London for the Business Analysis Conference from September 27 through 29th and to visit the UK Chapter of IIBA. She was appointed President and CEO of IIBA after spearheading its launch and development since its inception in 2003 with 28 founding members.
