Hi Prince 2015,

The qualification required to get started as a Business System Analyst? None.

The skills required? Depends on the scope of the role...but basically all you need is analysis - and love! :-)

You need the desire to be a BA and above average communications and sales skills.  Communications and sales skills can be trained and practiced, for most people.

How much do you know about business?  About human and it systems?  About analysis?

On that specific title: http://www.modernanalyst.com/TheProfession/Roles/BusinessSystemsAnalyst/tabid/187/Default.aspx

HTH,

Tom Miller, CAPM

Ok, so you'll need a couple of different things:  project management, how data is used within processes, definitely communications skills, you must know excel and pivot tables, research analyst salary (to know what to expect in the beginning of your career), preferably an MBA or business degree, analytical skills.

It really depend to what job role are you in. As long you are a skilled person, I mean you can speak, write and understand english. I suggest you attend Business Seminars for you to learn about Business strategies.

Daniela:

The primary function of a BA is to come up with a comprehensive, integrated understanding of a system's essential (i.e., technology independent) functions/processes (could be manual, automated, or combo) and - especially - how those functions interrelated.
