Model Driven Development and....Microsoft? 
So it seems that Microsoft is diving into the world of Model Driven Development. Here is a very interesting article talking about what they hope to achieve... Model Driven Development and Microsoft.

So how far off is Model Driven Development? Will we see any success come out of Microsoft in the next 6-12 months?

I don't doubt that Microsoft will come up with something, with delays of course?  What I'm wondering is how much following are they going to get since Microsoft seems to keep staying away from standard modeling notations such as UML and BPMN.
