If I were looking for such specific information I would look for Whitepapers and/or Webinars on the topic to start building my knowledge base.  Try doing a search on www.DigiBytes.com to see what you might find.  The resources are free.

I would agree that an Enterprise Mobility Conference could be helpful for this, but companies hate spending money in this environment.

I'm in complete agreement with your perspective on this.  It's an unfortunate truth that every industry thinks they are too different to benefit from the generalized information available in the market.  It's up to business analyst to take these differences into consideration and apply general knowledge in a specific way.
