So what modeling diagrams do you use??
Modified By Dr. Mohamed El-Attar on 4/4/2011 4:25:23 AM)

The BABOK has outlined a number of modeling diagrams as well there are other popular diagrams not in the BABOK. However when I ask many BA's about how they exchange and document requirements I get a reply of "by email". This cannot be right or even representative of how things are in the field. I am conducting this survey to know:

1. Which diagrams do you actually use?

2. How often do you use them? (every project, every once in while, never...etc)

3. What do you like/dislike about each one? (easy, useful, accurate...etc)

You can reply to this thread or even reply to me directly at [email protected]. I am conducting this in an attempt to bridge the gap between the academic and industrial worlds. Just as is the case in any field, academia contributes to the advancement of the industrial practices which is connection that unfortunately lacks in the BA field. You can find out more about me at
