Advice for a Front-end UI/UX BA moving into Middleware?
So I have recently moved from my comfort zone of defining mobile and web front-end UI/UX BA requirements to defining requirements for Middleware systems. I have very little experience in this space. I have always worked with a web service BA or a tech lead who has been able to clearly communicate "you need to send these data points, with these acceptable field lengths and allowed characters." I am having a hard time conceptualizing this new world where the beginning and end out put is solely service requests and responses (irrespective of what the web application does with this data upon receipt). Any advice for this former UI/UX (WYSIWYG) BA turned systems BA?
