Highly Experienced Test Manager - Is it worth moving to Business Analysis?

I have 15 years of experience, first few years in development and then in testing and currently working as a Test Manager. To move on from here I have two options - improve technically and get into automation or move into business analysis. Most of the experience is as a manual tester with great experience in Finance domain so a move should be possible but my question is are there roles available in Business Analysis that would pay me at or more than my current pay scale?

Because the role of BA interacts with so many parts of the process from business to IT, you can easily direct your career in a variety of directions depending on your strengths or passions.
