New to Business Analyst  

Hello everyone I am new to this forum and also want to start my career in BA, so i am actually looking forward from this forum is can you all suggest me what courses, software's, tools and skills that i need to develop to pursue my career in this field. My education is completely related to engineering so i don't think i can relate it to BA anywhere. so i need guidelines and suggestions of what can be done to be successful i would really appreciate your guidelines and time, thank you.

I am currently taking courses through Wake Tech in Cary, NC - 100% online.  Also, there are a lot of tools on the Modern Analyst site.  Lastly, if you go to IIBA - there are several certifications that can be taken to advance your career.
