Data redundancy 

Recently an interview asked me how would i go with data redundancy , like what steps would i follow to remove the redundancy os the data, in a Data Warehousing project as a Business Analyst.

Could any one reply for this plsss

That sounds like they want you to describe the process of converting the data redunacy into "3rd Normal Form" where there is only one copy of the data.  The theoretical basis is from Codds' 13 rules publication.  Let me take a look, Maybe this will help: http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/5100-10878_11-6135910.html

I am currently studying "Database Design for Mere Mortals" 2nd Edition, by Michaell J Hernandez  It probably discusses this topic completely but I am still near the beginning.  The book comes highly recommended so you might take a look after you read the two articles I have listed above.
