Compare Requirement Gathering Tools
We are trying to identify a good Requirement gathering and Tracking tool which we can use for our projects.

Initial research has been done and we have identified the following Tools.

1. Trello (Business Class, not the free version)
2. Blueprint
3. Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect
4. Caliber
5. Polarion® REQUIREMENTS™
6. iRise Studio

Can you please suggest which product you will rate the most and why. Please also advise if any other better tool is available in market?

"Requirement gathering and Tracking tool "

For almost all projects over the years ... including the Big-Time Bank Merger ... we used Excel ... for everything from the Project Pipeline, requirements, Traceability, development / QA status, sign-offs ... etc.

It was accessed by everyone to look at without having to buy some product and multiple licenses and having to learn that new product. Most already know Excel.

Re: Compare Requirement Gathering Tools

I only know Sparx's EA tool. It is good for capturing requirements and traceability with other artefacts e.g. processes, use cases, rules (a type of requirement in EA), etc down. Plus you get everything else that EA can do. plus its cheap.
