This book opened my eyes to the relationship between data management and information security. The gap we leave between them is embarrassing as a profession. I then gave this to my boss and she was likewise amazed that we had been overlooking even basic information protection steps and were unaware of the threats to our data.

I recommend this to anybody who wants to see the real nitty gritty of why we work so hard and still let data slip through our fingers to unauthorized persons. It is a novel format, but that makes it easier to follow - it is a quick read and then you can give it to your boss. I would make any new hire read it.

An interesting little book with a unique slant on the give and take among the various parts of the business. The security stuff was amazing, i did not know it was that complex, but the data interaction, or lack of interaction, was embarrassingly true. Recommended.
