Guide me on career Path - Trainer Vs BA

Hi,

I have started my career as Trading product trainer for new Joinees to organisation for 2 years and then landed up working for a outsoursing company as Process trainer and now I am working as business analyst for automating financial processes and developing additional tools to reduce manual working.

Now my profile is so confusing for me... I want to be a proffessional BA. Can some one guide me on this?

Thank You

Re: Guide me on career Path - Trainer Vs BA

Your profile seems ok to me, just because your experience is a little eclectic does not make it a bad thing. When you are pitching yourself, present it as such that you were exploring different aspects of BA work as a whole, and now your insight to the industry is a leg up. If you are interested in finding out more about the career path to become a business analyst, check out this link, which I found by searching Bing. I am currently a product manager, but I work closely with our company's business execs. This gives you a good idea of where to start looking for a job, also it has a comprehensive list on most major companies, and their average pay scale per year as well as benefits. Hope this helps.
