I've been asked to research professional qualifications for BA's. They have to be relevant to the UK (not US I'm afraid). I also have to consider cost as we're not in the best place at the moment. Also, there is a requirement that the qualification must continue to evolve and that re-assesment / new modules are needed.

For the most part, looks like you've found the main certifications for Business Analysts.
The IIBA has recently announced the Certification of Competency in Business AnalysisTM (CCBATM). It is geared towards practitioners with less industry experience.
A number of reputable training companies also offer certificates in Business Analysis such as: ESI International, IIL, B2T Training, Boston University, etc.
