Areas of Interest

Hi, can you please advise me what should be areas of interest for a Business Analyst esp when asked in interviews and resume builders of various web sites? i am a bit confused on this. thanks!

The answer the recruiters are looking for probably depends on the context so you should try to clarify the intent of the recruiter: aka what exactly they are looking for.

They are probably looking for one of the following:

Do you have any area of focus within the Business Analysis discipline (Enterprise Analysis vs. Data Analysis vs. Business Intelligence vs. Business Process Modeling vs. Systems Analysis, etc.)?
Are you interested in a specific vertical domain: healthcare vs. financial vs. manufacturing, etc.?
Are you looking to focus on specific type of application: business application vs. embedded systems vs. web applications vs. SAP, etc.
