Windows Administrator to System Analyst

My question is i have 10+ years experience from customer service in Compusa to presently Windwos Administrator.Never gathered all the skills per say, done some here,there etc.How does one come up with the the chronology and other data to make up to be a Analyst. Finally if there is anyone who can review my resume and be a honest critic and tell me at what i need to do or have to present myslef as a System Analyst. I went to few IT schools and presented my resume and asked for advise, they asked me to take their courses,but no gurantee for anything.I really apologise if i am asking the wrong queestions.My linked in profile=http://www.linkedin.com/pub/sastry-malapaka/9/b50/765. If you want to become a Business/Systems Analyst I would advise you focus on two things:

Since you are a techie, take some programming courses and learn how to program. Learning the basics of computer programming such as algorithm design, best practices, do's and don'ts, along with a current programming language such as C# or Java would bring you closer to a systems analyst.
