UML, Rational XDE

Hi, I have a general question. Is a "UML, Rational XDE" course something that will help me? I'm changing careers and speaking with a few training schools to see what proposed courses they would offer to me. One of them indicated that a "UML, Rational XDE" course would give me an extra "boost" on my resume. Would having this course carry any weight due to the career change? I'd appreciate any input with this and thanks.

Re: UML, Rational XDE

XDE was a failed product from Rational to replace Rose. It was replaced by the Eclipse verions of modelers called RSA and RSM.

Even if it were still viable just taking a training class doesn't give you experience.

You should fire your training school and get your money back.

Re: UML, Rational XDE

Thanks for your advice and sorry for taking so long to say so. I wanted to get some input before choosing which school to get training from. I needed to find out which courses would give me the best chances to break into a BA role using my past experience. Thanks again and have a good week.
