What should I do next?

Hey guys

New member here, recently got into Business Analysis a year back, finally completed my foundation BCS ISEB exam.

Just wondered what I should do next? Considering doing IIBA but it feels like I would be repeating things.

Re: What should I do next?

Hi Patrick,

It really depends on what is valued by a prospective employer.  Here is a link to a forum post that discusses some of the actual benefits of the CBAP, or really any certification for that matter.  Certifications along don't land jobs.  They are just another piece of the puzzle.  But application of the knowledged gained through study can be helpful.

Also, the experience prerequisites required for the CBAP are quite high compared to other certifications.  You should ensure that you meet the CBAP prerequisites before spending too much time on whether it even matters.

I have always loved cooking. I learned from my Grandma June and her kitchen was her sanctuary, a small, warm sunlit space filled with jars of spices, stacks of cookbooks, and the comforting smell of something always on the stove or baking in the oven. Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
