New Title For Combined Project Manager and Business Analyst

I've have my PMP and am already approved to take the CBAP exam (just need to study some more).

I see that more and more companies are looking for a combination Project Manager / Business Analyst, and after 25 years of consulting work, I fit into that category.

My Question: Is there any new industry title / buzzword that is making its way up the ladder to reference this combination ... or is the Project Manager / Business Systems Analyst still the popular title for resumes and job searchs?

Thanks

Re: New Title For Combined Project Manager and Business Analyst

I don't think that there is a consistent title that's used.  From what I've seen people are still asking for Project Manager/Business Analyst.

Of course, many BAs are required to have some amount of Project Management skills.  So often companies will ask for Business Analysts or Business Systems Analysts and then in the job description state that they need a certain amount of Project Management skills.

 Hi NitWitNick,

Check out "Business Architect". This seems to be the next big thing for BAs. Not huge where I am in Australia, but big in other markets I think. Fits your skills I think.

It answers: Is this story clear, feasible...
In today's fast-paced digital world, successful projects aren't just built on great code—they're built on clarity. And that clarity often comes from one key player: the Business Analyst. At the heart of every great product or system is a need—a business goal, a customer pain point, or a regulatory requirement. But busines...
I have always loved cooking. I learned from my Grandma June and her kitchen was her sanctuary, a small, warm sunlit space filled with jars of spices, stacks of cookbooks, and the comforting smell of something always on the stove or baking in the oven. Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
