Senior Business Systems Analyst Job in Cambridge, Massachusetts

• Manage the organization and documentation of business requirements to ensure the IT team develops and implements solutions that meet customer needs.
• Assist in the development of functional, conceptual and logical design specifications.
• Schedule, coordinate and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with the business to identify and drive complete requirements.
• Document requirements and work flow diagrams with focus on process improvements.
• Assist with the creation of test plans and pre-UAT testing, documenting and tracking issues and ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Oversee change request processes including facilitating meetings with business and technology teams to assist in timely and quality project completion.
• Act as project manager to develop and update project plans, schedules and estimates. Establish deadlines for completion of project deliverables and oversee problem resolution.
• Act as Project Manager for complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Document and update documentation for all internal system application and integration projects including user documentation and developer documentation.
• Provide timely responses to all user requests

The BSA III position requires a minimum of 8-10 years experience as a Business Systems Analyst with at least 6-8 years in Healthcare. Strong understanding of healthcare, particularly managed care. Experience in all phases of SDLC and working within development teams. Strong understanding of application programming, database and system design. Understands client/server and web-based architectures. Understands database architecture and schemas. Project manager experience with complex projects essential.
