Stuck in non challenging BA role. Unable to do job shift due to skill-set mismatch .
I’m currently BA for an EMS company. I just validate solution sent by business and explain it to tech team. This solution includes addition of small functional features to existing applications used by factories. The job involves very little domain(MANUFACTURING) knowledge as well. I'm so tired of this non challenging BA job. Even a 1st year engineering student can do this job. I'm wasting here with my MBA in operations. I'm unable to shift job as, 90% of BA jobs in portals require finance domain experience/ analytics experience(data crunching, R+, Python). Remaining jobs require specific domian experience like SCM SAP module, SCM CRM module, Microsoft dynamixretail SCM modules. So I'm not even getting interview calls. What should I do now? Should I go for SAP training as start from scratch at 1/3rd my salary?

You may be able to supplement your skillset with SQL, R, Python, etc in order to pivot into Data Analytics/Business Intelligence.  You BA background will support this.  There are programs available to obtain a Data Analytics education.  Some are certificate programs, others are Master's programs which may be more than you want to commit too.
