Hey Jason, became a financial analyst just last year after graduating with a BA in english. I was teaching 8th grade Lit. when my brother in law suggested that I look into BA. It is a great fit for my temperament, but I did have a bit of trouble breaking in. I was fortunate enough to have my brother to take me under his wing, but in reality I could have done it sanz guidance. I am currently attending UCLA school of business while working with my brother. If you are a bit shor of time there are a few online MBA programs which aren't as acredited as an MBA, but still teach you what you need to know. Pheonix university offers an EMBA, as well as most Universities. However I just wanted to share with some information I found while researching salaries and benefits. I hae a family to provide for and this economy these days is not as strong as it used to be, so it was very important to me to be earning as much as possible.
