Free pass to BA Conference
Modified By Chris Adams on 7/11/2014 12:19:16 PM)
Competition sponsored by The Atlantic Systems Guild Ltd.

Win a free pass to the BA Conference Europe, London, September 22-24, 2014, normally costing £1734 to attend.

What will be the role of the business analyst five years from now? We have seen the role and its responsibilities change significantly in the last five years, from being a passive recorder of users’ requirements to active innovator and challenger of the established business practices. The business analyst is often no longer attached to the IT department, and finds himself/herself positioned somewhere between the business and IT.

Where will the business analyst be in five years time, and what will business analysts be doing? What will the responsibilities of the role be then?

Write one sentence to give your opinion on what will be the most significant change in the business analyst’s role in 5 years time.

Please email your answers to [email protected] and please use the subject BA5Years. The closing date for entries is July 31, 2014. The competition will be judged by Prof. Neil Maiden of City University London, James Archer BA of the year 2009, and Suzanne Robertson of the Atlantic Systems Guild. The winning submission will be published on this site, and in the Volere LinkedIn Group, and other relevant business analysis sites. By entering and winning you are agreeing that your entry may be used in this manner.
