Job Shadowing as Part of Interview Process
I have recently been through an interview process for a business analyst role, i was succesfull at the final interview. The company has requested me to come in for half a day just to experience what the culture is, the company is going live with one of their projects and i have been invited to observe how they work. I would like to find out how best to carry myself and what are the do's and do'nts for a "job shadow as part of the interview process

Hi Lizo,

I recommend you wear a hat with a propeller on top and interrupt them constantly with questions!

Just be yourself, observe and keep out of the way. Maybe take notes and ask intelligent questions afterwards.

Re: Job Shadowing as Part of Interview Process

Hi,

It is good that you have been given a chance to see through the company culture. Try to focus on the mini task they do and the procedure they follow to get the big  tasks accomplished. Note down the observations, see through each ones role and scope out the task each of one does. At last link to the nodes you have recovered to get the flow!

Thanks,

*FJC
